Creating Fall Containers

Fall is a wonderful time to rethink containers. In the Pacific Northwest, many plants will thrive year-round. Here are just a few of the options we have available at Bayview (with new ones coming in every week!) for use in your fall containers:

  • Pansies and Violas
  • Fall Aster
  • Dusty Miler
  • Mums
  • Primroses
  • Hebe
  • Rudbeckia
  • Ornamental Kale and Cabbage

The fact is, you don’t have to be limited to two or three traditional fall designs. Look at your perennial borders for inspiration and find varieties that fit well in the size of your container.

How about:

  • Anemone
  • Euphorbia
  • Heuchera
  • Sedum
  • Abelia
  • Carex
  • Sagina moss
  • Vinca
  • Heathers
  • Fescues

Try something new and unexpected…there are so many options!
